I am totally amazed at the number of freeware products available!
I can see Google docs having great applications for our regional library, where distances are a problem in arranging meetings and sharing documents.
One big problem is coordinating our monthly newsletter - a situation much like the one described in the commoncraft show so Google docs could be great for that.
Also, some of our smaller branches have funding issues and often can't afford software but it looks like there is a freeware product for just about everything you need to do.
Some of the other tools featured in the slideshare show were great - I liked the idea of jott and zamzar and can see myself using both of these. I think I need a lot more time to really look at and explore each one.
